They dont agree with it. They believe in a human having a life.
Civil Rights
Democrats have fought to end discrimination in all form including discrimination based on race, sex, ethnicity or national origin, language, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability.
Moderate and Liberal Republicans supported civil rights. The Republicans who supported civil rights in America were not conservatives of the same ilk as George W. Bush, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.
Education
share with all parents the commitment to prepare our children to lead lives of happiness and success. That’s why we’re dedicated to ensuring the next generation has access to a first-rate education and the tools to drive our economy forward.
First, republicans believe in a restructuring of higher education, which would leave more students equipped for their desired fields and less working minimum wage jobs that are irrelevant to their education. Next, they believe in limiting the federal government in education
Energy
A balanced energy policy must create real incentives for energy conservation in our homes, our offices, our factories, and our infrastructure, saving money and improving security even as it creates good jobs and rebuilds our communities.
Republicans have been criticized in recent years for its lack of focus on climate change, but its beliefs about energy dependence and its environmental impact have been positive for the most part.
Environment
committed to working to address our biggest environmental challenges.
They consider human health and safety to be the first and most important issue in environmental concerns, as humans are our country’s most valuable resource.

believes in a patient-centered health care system, which is based in free markets, fostering competition and driving healthcare costs down. They believe that a health care system that is run by the government will reduce both the efficiency and the standard of care, as well as compromise the patient-physician relationship.

National security/Defense
Democrats are committed to ensuring that our troops have the training, equipment, and support that they need when they are deployed and the care that they and their families need and deserve when they return home.
Republicans are again seeing national security as a winning issue for their campaigns, eight years after the party was swept from power in Congress over President Bush's handling of the Iraq war.
Retirement/Pension
Democrats have continually fought to defend these cornerstones of the American Dream in the face of attempts to dismantle or undermine both.
Republicans are against Social Security in the form that it currently exists. While Social Security does represent ideas, such as government spending and redistribution of wealth, which the Party is generally against, very few Republicans will argue that Social Security should be done away with.
State rights
democrats made it to protect the state rights.
They love state rights so much they protect it too.
Court system
ensured that the proposed new government for the United States would have a separate judicial branch, with unprecedented protections for the independence of federal judges.
They think they need to do it better.
In this project, I had to research a number of prevalent issues in the political world today. Then, I had to compile their responses to those issues on the chart seen above. Through this project, I learned that the more important issues today have varying ideas and responses as to how to fix or change them for the better. In most cases, I thought that both of the political parties had good aspects to their solutions; however, there were things they could combine and compromise in order to appease the majority and improve upon the issue. In the long-run, I realize that hoping both Democrats and Republicans will be able to compromise in order to better the lives of those that put them in office is futile because they are too concerned about their personal careers to do what they believe is right.
